Now I Know(s)

That’s to be read as nose. Now I know why kids are so interested in me. Just yesterday, we were visiting a family friend of ours here, and they had a fresh-out-of-the-oven baby boy. It’s been quite a while since I’ve been around a 4-month old, so it was fun. The kid just kept staring at me, and even though he had just woken up, he kept smiling at me and reaching out his arms towards me. The moment I took the little fiend in my lap, he reached out with both his hands for my nose. Apparently, it takes two baby hands to scout my nose. But that wasn’t enough. His next mode of attack were the gums. He wanted to fit my nose into his mouth, which was entirely too small for the task at hand. On top of that, well I’m all for babies, you know. But baby-saliva is a strict no-go area for me. And that kid produced a lot of that stuff – and that too the weird frothy kind!  Anyway – mystery solved, case closed! Now I can sleep easy at night, sorta.

Busy Night: Podcasts

Last night was wayy too much for me to take! I had this awful flu that didn’t let me sleep. Everytime I lay down, my nose got all.. well, just blocked up. I mean these days I’m usually up till 6 in the morning, but right now it’s 10:02 AM!

Anyway, while I was up, I did something very interesting! I set up my blog for Podcasting! Yep, now I and Some Desi are officially the only two Pakistani podcasters – I think, correct me if I’m wrong, I looked all night for other Pakistani podcasters but couldn’t find any!

So, this is the beginning of my Podcasting career! There are several ways to hook up to my Podcastsm which are listed here. A simple method is to download iPodder for free and add my RSS 2 feed to it. Just copy and paste this address into the URL field:

My first podcast is an unfinished music composition (yeah, I do that too, with GarageBand) I started working on some time back. Enjoy it via podcast, or download it here.

Dude, I am also suffering badly from Flu and I hate it absolutely. Btw, thanks for putting up a link of my website. And I will be damned, if I become the first Pakistani Podcasters and you be second. Dude, we can lead this revolution :o ) LOL

Podcasting I would have to agree is the new upcoming trend infact after iTunes included podcasts in its latest version 4.9 I have been wholeheartedly been a daily podcast listener.

@Teeth Maestro: Yeah inshAllah I’ll be submitting my blog to the iTMS Podcast Directory as soon as I get back to Karachi. I just hate working with Windows PCs, especially when it’s with multimedia apps. I’d feel much comfortable podcasting when I’m on my mac!
