Call me crazy! Call me free! Ladies and gents, yesterday was my last paper for my BE degree. I can now consider myself an engineer!
Thank you all for your prayers!
It was amazing! After the paper finished, we all gathered at the café and signed each others shirts, and violated just about every rule in the book that we possibly could! We even got into the parade ground and took photographs! How daring, right?
Look if you’re not impressed with the whole parade ground breach, you’ve probably never been to a naval unit before
These guys worship the place. (I hope no one from college is reading this or I’m screwed!
)
About the shirt signing, it was so much fun! Some of the most funny comments were:
- BEWARE when I turn, my teeth are HUGE!
- HOW-AM-I-DRIVING 0345-1234567 (The guy who got this is a total leadfoot!)
- BE-ROZGAAR
- “Jaa shoday, supply ki tayyari kar!”
There were more, but I couldn’t possibly put them up on a blog!
Now that I’m finally a graduate, I wonder what lies ahead of me. When I was in my O’ Levels, Aamanna used to tell me that that was the most important phase of my life. That it was the stepping stone for the rest of my career. When I was in my A’ Levels, he told me that getting good grades in A’ Levels was what mattered the most, and that a good result would guarantee admission into a good University. When I got into NUST with their BE program, he told me not to go over my head, since this was really the start of my career, and that doing well at University would mean a stable career ahead of me. The thing is, I believed him every time, and that served me well. Thank you, Aamanna, for all the inspiration that you’ve given me, and all the prayers that you’ve done for me. Thank you so much for everything! Now I’m just waiting for you to tell me how important the next phase of my life is

now the most important thing …. ‘Apple’ products are not good.
ciao
@Aamanna: Do you want me to take away all that credit?
hey!!! congratulations!!! you must be so happy. I want to feel that feeling of freedom.
So that’s where you guys were after the paper.
I do hate you. Thought you should know that before you left.
Ok, now I feel better.
wow congradz buddy…..i wish i was also graduating this yr
but nop i am not….i still have damn long 2 yrs ahead of me…. do remember me in prayers
oh btw tell me how u feel to b a graduated……
and where is da party?
@fairyDust: Thanks!
@alias: And thank you for such a hearty congratulation!
Oh, and by the way, that feeling is mutual
And… dude, I’m just graduating, I’m not dying (not that I know of
)… so what’s with the “before you left” thing?
@khawab: Thanks! But believe me, the post-graduation-syndrome is highly overrated! I was expecting to feel wonderful, but it turns out my family was happier about me graduating than me. I guess it’ll just take time for the joy to sink in
Ohh Congrats on becoming a Grad … at last …
Lols at cmmnts on shirts thats the best part of farewell days ….!
And well when you’ll start doing full time job these days would be extremely missed …. and I agree nothing happens after grad … so zeeee … dont worry
I guess you are my university mate but at a different campus.
Congratz on getting your degree, finally.
@Asma: Yeah… at last!
Thanks.
@Shuaib: Thanks! So, your’re from the Military College of Signals right? Rawalpindi? I think it’s on the same road as EME college. I was there about six months ago. Don’t worrry I’m not spying on you, just saw your IP.
You got it right. MCS it is. I guess you are from PNEC as that’s the only campus of NUST in Karachi.
How is life at PNEC? Ragged by navy (just as we are by army)?
BTW, MCS and EME ain’t on the same road. They are quite distant to each other.
congrats! ..stepping into a new world… i wish u good luck:)
wOWwwwwwwww
