Movies. Yes, I’ve been watching a lot recently. I’ve spent the past three nights in the cinema, sitting on my hands to keep them warm (why the hell do they have to make it so cold in there?) watching one movie after another.
Now, Star Trek and Terminator: Salvation both rocked big time! At least for me! I’m not so sure about my other friends whom I forced to watch the movies with me just because I hate going alone to the cinema. After watching Star Trek, when we were saying goodbye, instead of my usual Allah Hafiz, I made the Vulcan greeting sign (as in the post avatar) and said live long and prosper. My friends, heh, they made quite a different hand gesture after that
Khair, yesterday I watched the most fuzool movie ever made! I should have expected that from a Nicolas Cage movie! I’m talking about Knowing. In the first twenty minutes, while the plot was unraveling, I was thinking to myself – this is too damn simple to be a good thriller! Twenty minutes later, I was wishing I hadn’t had that thought. Aliens? The apocalypse? Freaky little kids? A balding action hero? I mean come on! Okay I realize that’s the same premise around Star Trek and Terminator, but at least you walk into the movie knowing that! Good GOD! :/ Khair in the movie, Nicolas Cage buys a revolver, and they show him reading the instruction manual!
Isn’t it funny? What would the manual be like?
How to kill:
- Point firearm at subject.
- Cock the hammer
- Spit
- Say something bad-ass like “Hasta la vista, baby”, or “Say hello to my little friend!” or “I expect you to die Mr.[Insert Name Here]!” or “This is SPAARTTAAAA!”. Though the latter would suit a melee kill best! But hey, you’re Nicolas Cage and you’re reading the instruction manual to a revolver – how basass can you be?
- Pull the trigger and go “Oh my God, Oh my God!”
How to kill yourself
- [optional] Dress yourself in your service uniform.
- Put the muzzle firmly beneath your jaw.
- Feign resolve.
- Say something like “It’s better to burn out than fade away” or “You can’t fire me, I quit!!” or “*grunt* Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!”
- Pull the tri–
Yeah, that could be useful!

Oh! Look at the little baby! I think I quite like the Vulcan greeting sign!
And if you ever find out why they make the cinemas so cold do let me know! It’s like an ice box in there!
A few days back you didn’t have enough time ..
and now you have so much that you spent 3 nights in the cinema ..
Astagfirullah !! (tch tch tch)
@Sania: Cute, nahi?
Oh yeah, especially the grand cinema guys! Cinestar walay phir bhi behtar hotay hein!
@Huda: Lol! Weekend tha ustaad! Aur aajkal movies kaafi lagi hui hein! Yesterday I was supposed to go and watch Angels and Daemons, laikin we got there late :/ Tabhi Nicolas Cage ki ghatiya tareen movie dekhni pari! :/
LOL! Nicee .. you get to enjoy the weekend and I am enjoying high school here :@ ..
Muahahah! Itni satisfaction hoti hai jab kisi ko aisi baatien kartay sunta huun to!
Yea Yea Absar;
Rub salt on my wounds ..
Very cute.
Oh, they’re both horrible! Especially for a person who has very very low tolerance to cold. When I went to Lahore last for my sister’s wedding, it was winter- I used to wear a thick, knee-length coat, a shawl mittens and STILL be freezing!
Oh you’re that type too! Cool! I mean, not actually cool, but you know what I mean, right?
I’m that kind too – but Aamanna is the exact opposite! Imagine the two of us in the same room!! *shudders*
LOL! Yea.
*Gasp* That would be torture, I know what you’re saying cause my brother is the exact opposite too!
I heard that Knowing was actually a good movie….

I’m surprised no one has tried the instructions thus far… I was hoping you guys would try the second set very closely? :s
baby accha hay
@ Absar: Why don’t you try the second set & we see what happens
*baron k nakshay kadam per chalna* sniff sniff
@asma: Heheh, yeah, anyone who can make the Vulcan greeting gesture is cool with me!
@Huda: Agar mein ne kar liya to baaqiyo ko rasta kaun dikhaayay ga!
@ Absar: SAWJ haii na
